We’re Back!

Can you believe it? Our family is fundraising AGAIN for the Arthritis Foundation! First, Mommy (and Papa) walked the Honolulu Marathon in 2003 and Mommy raised over $17,000! Then Daddy completed the 2006 and 2007 California Coast Classic bike rides (San Francisco to Los Angeles) and raised over $50,000! Not to mention, our family and dear friends have fundraised, volunteered, and participated in the San Jose Arthritis Walk for the past four years! All to benefit the Arthritis Foundation.

Well, it’s Mommy’s turn again! This time, she and Grammy will be walking the Disney World Marathon in Florida in January. It’s been ten years since Grammy’s last marathon and five since Mommy’s, so of course, Lauren and I will need to join them to provide encouragement and inspiration!

Our family is especially supportive and grateful to the Arthritis Foundation. It’s because of the Arthritis Foundation that kids like me who suffer from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis receive the best care out there; from the latest and greatest medications to the highly recognized (and underpaid!) pediatric rheumatologists at Stanford University Medical Center. It’s because of the research funded in part by the Arthritis Foundation that kids like me now live fairly normal lives instead of lives filled with crippling joint damage and fatigue.

So….once again, we are asking for your support. Please consider making a donation to the Arthritis Foundation which will directly improve the lives of the over 300,000 children in the country like me, who suffer from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Your support, in any amount, is really appreciated.
